Release Bramall Lane: The one with Football Lab enhancements

TLDR: In this release we’ve added a new feature to the Football Lab as well as a brand new visualisation — Shots by Zone maps.
Football Lab
- NEWLeaderboards – Added a brand new feature to the Football Lab that allows users to create their own ‘board’ of Top 5 rankings tiles for up to 12 different stats per board. This effectively creates a dashboard and a really quick and easy way to keep track of top performing players and teams for any stat.
- Tiles can be configured based on a variety of combinations including:
- Single competition or multi-competitions
- Single season or multi-season
- Single team or Multi-team
- Positional and age filtering for players
If you’d like to find out more or may be interested in adding these new features to your account, get in touch with one of the team.
Visualisations
- NEW Shots by Zone maps – Added an entirely new visualisation to the viz library, highlighting where players and teams take their shots from. This can be configured as either the totals or percentage of shots from a particular zone or, alternatively, the xG value generated for each zone.
- There are also a number of grid variations available, as well as selectable shot types and additional shot based filter options.
Match Centre
- Player names on formation viz – Added player names below their icons on formation visualisations
- Player formation icons update – Improved the iconography on formation viz so that it corresponds to any time period filtering and not just full-time events.
Other
- Added further improvements to loading stat groups in Analyse
- Fixed a rare occurrence where the match dropdown wouldn’t populate on match entities in Smart Graphics
- Various other smaller bug fixes and improvements.
